When your Uncle Grambo was coming back home on the school bus from Camp Tamarack after a week at Sixth Grade Camp, I remember one of our counselors — sadly, the name escapes me — blasting this from his boombox on repeat for the entire ride home. It was a pivotal moment in my life; I bought “No Jacket Required” on cassette from Camelot Records at Meadowbrook Mall (R.I.P.) the very next day.
